The Hinterland’s Scarecrow Festival
is a little bit different
Unlike many Scarecrow Festival around the world, The Hinterland Scarecrow Festival offers a unconventional take on its interpretation of ‘the Scarecrow’. With a preference toward animated sculpture and unusual farm-yard characters, the Scarecrows often tell a story, taking on many forms and reflecting the creative leanings of this diverse and eclectic community.
FOLLOW THE SCARECROW TRAIL
With such a packed program of Scarecrows to see, a whole day of touring is advised. A visit to Scarecrow Festival Trail can also be combined with a visit to the market, cellar door or farm-gate for a complete taste of this inspirational community.
